Castle Leslie wedding photography
Danielle & John’s wedding at Castle Leslie estate had everything you could want when photographing wedding – beautiful people, and a day filled with lots of emotions, love, and laughter. The stunning castle is a wedding venue and a great party to finish this fantastic day.
The couple’s love story started quite early when they met on a bouncy castle at a mutual friend’s house party. I think it’s a pretty good start to a lifetime relationship. I can’t hide; I love to hear my couple’s love stories. Every one of them is so individual and unique. After a couple of years together, John surprised Danielle with engagement and organized a big party to celebrate the special occasion. Of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without the bouncy castle appearance!
My day started in the morning at the venue where the couple was getting ready, followed by the wedding ceremony in the majestic St Macartan’s Cathedral in Monaghan. Once the marriage ceremony was over, we got back to the venue, where we took some bride & groom portraits. We were spoiled not only by the fantastic staff at Castle Leslie but also by the great weather and beautiful autumn colours.
Castle Leslie has lots of great locations for your wedding photographs. This place got so many picturesque locations, from natural woodland to wild lakes. If that’s not enough, the venue is surrounded by scenic countryside everywhere around. Castle Leslie is definitely one of my favourite Irish castles. This spectacular wedding venue is one of the most beautiful luxury estates in Ireland, located in Co Monaghan is only an 80min drive from Dublin.
The whole wedding day was just one big celebration with everyone having a great time and laughing. One great big party. I can describe the overall theme to be very elegant with a vintage flair. Every detail was very personal, carefully chosen by the couple for a particular reason. It takes some much of time and effort to prepare such features, but it is totally worth it. All the DIY details make a massive impact, creates a good vibe, and definitely, they set the right atmosphere for the big party.
All the kids in the bridal party were the couple’s godchildren, including their lovely daughter Ellie who also read a poem during the marriage ceremony. All the wedding signs and the very cool leather bridal jacket have been chosen and painted by Danielle’s cousin. How cool is that! The table plan John and Danielle made based on all the places they travelled to together, and even wedding favours were his & her favourite drink flavors. That’s a seriously impressive way to personalize the wedding day, and Danielle and John nailed it to perfection.
Castle Leslie is a beautiful wedding venue.
