Wedding Venue Tipperary – Relaxed Fun Love Story in Cloughjordan House
Niamh & Tadhg met in the most romantic place ever – Copper Face Jacks! The old story of city girl meets country boy… Tadhg proposed a few years later and thanks to that we can witness this beautiful and personal wedding celebration.
There are plenty of amazing Tipperary wedding venues, but for Niamh and Tadhg Cloughjordan House was definitely love at first sight.
“We instantly fell in love with Cloughjordan House It just felt like the perfect place for us as a couple to get married. We loved that we could do the ceremony in the Woodshed and walk one minute across to the drinks reception. It felt romantic and very relaxed, and it just totally fit the vibe we were going for. It also offered the ASADO for our day two, which we loved. It was the perfect space for a relaxed and more intimate BBQ for the 70 people that attended. We loved the idea of everyone being onsite and having full exclusivity for the weekend. We felt like we had the village of Cloughjordan to ourselves, to be honest as guests wandered around and spent time in the village before Day 2 kicked off!”
For Niamh and Tadhg, there were a couple of main priorities when planning their wedding. The couple wanted an immediate family and closest friends to be able to stay onsite or at least a quick walk from the venue, that was a deal-breaker.
Niamh and Tadhg really wanted to have long tables, and when they saw the marquee in Cloughjordan House set up with just three long tables, they knew it was the perfect wedding venue for their wedding. They had 50 people at each table, and it worked very well. Even with a large number of guests, it felt romantic and intimate. Tadhg and Niamh also were very keen on doing a humanist ceremony, and the Tipperary wedding venue, Cloughjordan House, offers several areas to do that, they instantly fell in love with the Woodshed, and they knew that was the place where they wanted to say ‘I do’.
The whole wedding day was so natural, personal and authentic. It’s the time where you have all your friends and family in one room together, celebrating you as a couple and this is indeed a moment to remember.
The entire wedding day was relaxed fun and informal. The couple was happy to have non-traditional elements such as the wedding ceremony in the Woodshed. They were involved in putting together the wedding ceremony with Willie, their celebrant and their gorgeous singers. They had little touches here and there, and that made the wedding day feel unique and extra special. It was truly fun, chilled out day where everyone seems to have a great time and enjoy themselves.
Hi Greg,
We just spent the last hour or so going through the photos! Firstly we cannot believe how quick you were getting them back to us. Thank you so much – we are on honeymoon so it’s amazing to get them here and reminisce!
They are just gorgeous!! Thank you so much, you captured the day so perfectly especially the smiles and laughter! We just love them so much! We can’t stop looking at them!
You were an absolute pleasure to deal with – thank you so so much again!

Wedding Venue Tipperary – List Of Suppliers
Shoes: H&M!
I don’t wear heels very often and so really wasn’t interested in spending a huge amount on a shoe I would wear once! I found these light pink suede heels from H&M and thought they were perfect! I did not feel too bad when they got wet / dirty during the pictures
Flowers: Tadhgs mum
Ber did our flowers for us, they were absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. I love the look of wild flowers and I asked her to make them look like I just picked them in a field! I adore lavender, we sent sprigs of lavender with our invitations and it featured a lot in the wedding so she incorporated dried lavender in with the fresh flowers. The smell was amazing and I just adored the simplicity of them!
Groom(smen)’s suits: Debenhams
Accessories: Scarecrow flowers in Sandymount Village
Cake: Friend Claire
My friend Claire made our cake for us and it blew us away! It was rustic and simple and exactly what we wanted. Two layers chocolate biscuit and one layer with her famous white chocolate biscuit. We barely had any leftover! I got our little cake topper on Etsy.
Stationery: Niamh designed all the stationery – save the dates, invites, booklets, menus etc. She works in marketing and loves all the creative side.
Make Up & Hair: Niamhs make up was done by Mandi Daly.
Mandi did a brilliant job – the make up was natural and flawless without been over the top. Sarah Keogh did our hair, which we all loved. We realised on the day how important it is to have relaxed and fun people working with you on the day – both were amazing!
Wedding Rings/Engagement ring: Chupi in the Powerscourt centre.
Ceremony/Reception Music: Sisters Orla and Megan Gormley
We were so lucky to have our great friends, sisters Orla and Megan Gormley to sing for us at our ceremony. Niamh had dreamed for years that they would sing her down the aisle and they were amazing. We handpicked all the songs with them, which meant everything to us and created a special personalised ceremony.
Many thanks to Niamh & Tadhg for letting me document their wedding day. It was my pleasure to be a part of such a grand celebration!
