Here is an exceptional wedding I was lucky to document some time ago, and since then, I have been waiting impatiently to be able to post it on my blog. Jennifer and Coilin asked me to photograph their wedding day in Cloughjordan house in county Tipperary, Ireland. They told me they wished to spend the day having lots of fun. They wanted to have a simple, easy-going, relaxed day. They dreamed of a time to enjoy family and friends’ company in the most natural, pure, and happy way. Instantly, I felt I want to be part of it. It just felt right from the beginning — the friendly and laid-back couple together with the atmospheric, warm, and welcoming venue. Plus, the lush wild countryside all around. It just couldn’t get any better.
Jennifer and Coilin met in College, and they were great friends throughout all the years in school when they finally decided to get together in their final year. They got engaged back in Galway,y where they first met. As always love to get to know my couples! It was so nice to be part of their wedding day. Authentic, laid back, and beautiful love celebration.
I’ve been working in Cloughjordan house many times before, and I think I will never get enough of this place. This place offers a perfect background and vibe for any event. It’s charming in any possible way, all the people who work there are so helpful and considerate. I worked with Jessica, their wedding planner, more than a few times, and she is so well organized, cooperative, and just a lovely person to be around. She surely helps to make any wedding smooth, successful, and unforgettable.
The grounds and gardens are very photogenic and a great addition to reception time, where you can play. I like the possibility of having speeches and cake cutting and even the first dance to be done outside where you can enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and pretty outdoors. The decor, the accommodation, and the food are of outstanding quality. All the details make the wedding day a very personal and genuinely great experience.

Greg was a fantastic addition to our wedding day, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He was friendly, fun, unimposing, professional, aware, and managed to put people at ease even when they didn’t like their photo being taken!! He is very talented at what he does and captured people and moments expertly. I loved how he managed to capture missed moments, and we have loved going through them all reliving the day! Our families and guests also loved his relaxed, friendly manner. He sent us a few sample photos within a few days, and the wedding slideshow to music is so nice to have.
