Tankardstown House Wedding – Sensational Indian Irish wedding celebration.
I am thrilled to blog this fantastic love story! Let me show you the most colourful, bold, sensational Indian/Irish Wedding I was lucky to photograph last year.
Declan and Pranjal met in San Fransico, got engaged in Joshua Tree, California and decided to get marring in Ireland! They picked one of the most elegant, exclusive wedding venues you can get, and this place is out of this world!
Tankardstown House in Rathkenny, Slane, County Meath is a truly magnificent wedding location. Just a short drive, it is about 60 minutes from Dublin to the heart of the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath. County Meath, also known as Ireland’s Heritage Capital, is the perfect starting point to discover and explore the history and heritage sites of Ireland.
As this would be not enough, this wedding was carefully planned by Sinead, wedding and event producer from Frog Prince. As you can imagine, from morning preparations until late at night all went smooth and easy as it should! Sinead gives you the missing puzzle to all great events – the peace of mind to enjoy it all! If you are not familiar with her stunning work, I recommend checking the website.
From the moment I drove through the gates of Tankardstown House until I left the whole experience was truly amazing. The grounds of this spectacular wedding venue are perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony, which can be arranged on-site for seven days a week. The courtyard cottages are beautiful, very well decorated. They are spacious, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need; they can accommodate up to 36 people. In addition to this, you have all seven rooms in the Main House on the night of the Wedding.
One of the best things, from the point of professional wedding photographer, is the outstanding quality of light you get in the reception room, but not only there! This place guarantees perfect lighting for any weather conditions, which makes it an ideal setting for family and bridal or any photographs. I love working at this wedding venue; it offers lots of picture-perfect spots.
I have to mention that the food and service are also truly exceptional. There is an exclusive Master wedding menu that will satisfy any foodie and will make them raving about the food long after the party finished. The attention to detail throughout the whole Tankardstown House wedding along with the friendly service and spectacular food is top class!
The whole day was such an experience with the colourful outfits, traditional Indian blessing ceremony, music and overall laughter and joy. It was an exquisite wedding celebration, but the couple managed to make it also very relaxed, laid back and unquestionably very enjoyable to all!
